Every registered user has a personal profile that can be customized individually. Here you can introduce yourself.

A meaningful profile picture and a personal introduction text help you connect with others and make it easier to discover shared interests or potential collaborations. This way, you can make the most of NewsLoad for your personal or professional development.

✏️ Edit Profile​

Go to the Edit Profile page unter My Account -> My Profile

Here you can ...

  • change your profile picture.
  • write your own introduction text to present yourself. In addition to standard formatting options, you can also include links, images, content from other websites such as videos, and more. This allows you to make your profile appealing and informative.
  • switch between view and edit mode to see how your profile appears to other users.

👁️ What is shown in your profile?​

  • The profile picture you selected.
  • The introduction text you wrote.
  • A list of your organizations with your position.
  • Your 10 most recently published posts.

Only posts where you are listed as the author are displayed. Additionally, only posts published in an organization's profile or posts published in a network where the viewing user or one of their organizations is a member are shown.

🌐 Where are profiles displayed?​

  • User profiles are public and visible to guests.
  • Your profile is linked in each of your posts where you are listed as the author.
  • Your profile can also be found in the user management of your organizations.

  • Choose a professional, easily recognizable profile picture.
  • Write a short but meaningful introduction text that reflects your interests and experience.
  • Use formatting, images, and links to make your profile lively and informative.
  • For accessibility, add descriptions to images that can be read by screen readers.
  • Keep your information about organizations and positions up to date.
  • Link to relevant projects and posts.
  • Check how your profile appears to other users.
  • Update your profile regularly.
  • Do not include confidential or sensitive data, as your profile is publicly visible.
